Background

In the beginning there were gods, 6 of them in fact. Each god tasked themselves with creation of the cosmoses which turned out to be exhausting. So they set up a rotation, each taking turns being The One True God so that they could be free to daly about their creation. Being the OTG also proved exhausting, they all hated it, so they created godlings to share the burden, who also hated it and so created godlettes and soon there was a mess, but that’s pretty normal – Entropy could talk your consciousness to  zero-Kelvin about it.

In a cosmos teeming with life and governed by an idea of Balance, two things quickly arise: desire and misunderstanding, which in turn require ethics and judgement, which require wisdom and humor, which may or may not be something gods and godlings can fully dig – we may need humans for that.

Synopsis

Killing Time is a tragicomedy series that follows the life and times of Samgong, 1 of the 6, Delilah the disenfranchised Time Steward, and the best of all Samgong’s creations, The Baby New Yearses. You’ll meet a smattering of Samgong’s “friends” and creations, as an unexpected force emerges from the vacuum of godly fucks to give – Samgong calls them Hocus Pocus.

Introducing

Samgong silly

Being one of the original 6, Samgong has literally been around forever. Samgong loves long walks on the beach, jokes, plate lunch, and adorableness. But don’t let that goofy grin give you the idea you can act all lolo – you can and will be smoted. Samgong is ferocious, occassionally terrifying, and while they aren’t intentionally a self-centered jerkface, it just comes with the territory. Gods 🙄 amirite?

When the year 2020 never ends on Earth, it’s hardly surprising Samgong didn’t take notice. You’ll see. 🍙

BNY Bio

As they walk the Timelands, Baby New Yearses (BNYs) guide celestial bodies around the cosmoses. Why top hats and togas? Because it pleases Samgong 🫠! From The Year of the Rat to the Pig, these are Samgong’s favorite of all creations. Except for that one time they extincted the dinosaurs. 🦕

Rat and Ox are in an ugly, never before seen situation. In all the eternities, across all the Fluffles they’ve served together, Rat has cared for Ox as his walk ends and hers begins. And now, Ox must die, over and over and over and over. Rat is the only one for the job, he’s doing the job.

Delilah

Delilah is put together, she’s got great taste, great posture, and is bored. As the Time Steward of this modest sliver of self awareness, she is  tasked to oversee the BNYs. Its a steady job in a cute solar system where Time clicks pretty much like clockwork. That boredom is about to be missed. 😫

Hocus Pocus

Who is Hocus Pocus and what do they want? Why does Samgong know so little about them? And how in the cosmoses did they pull this off? 🪄
